Landing pages: weeks → 1–3 days
A CMS migration and performance work that made launching a page a matter of days.
Context
Bizee’s marketing site is where paid and organic traffic first lands, so it is where growth experiments start. Marketing needs to launch and iterate on landing pages quickly, and every page needs to be fast and readable by search engines.
Problem
The site was built on Payload, and launching a new landing page took days or even weeks. The process was both complex and slow, and every new page waited on it.
What I did
The migration. I took part in planning the move from Payload to Statamic, in the migration itself, and in the decisions about how the new site should be structured. The result is a Laravel 12 + Statamic 6 stack with Antlers templates and Vite.
Performance as a feature. I tracked and fixed Core Web Vitals across the site. I used Redis caching, preconnected to the order funnel, and gave CTAs instant feedback, so the jump from landing page to checkout feels immediate.
Structured data. I implemented JSON-LD schemas, including Product and Offer with return policy, shipping details and validity dates, so search engines understand what each page sells.
Quality that keeps up. Faster launches only help if pages don’t break. I introduced Laravel Dusk browser tests running in GitHub Actions, and enriched Sentry errors with the Antlers template context, so a broken page points straight to the template that caused it.
Outcome
- Launching a new landing page went from days or weeks to 1–3 days.
- Pages are faster and better understood by search engines, with browser tests and error reporting that point straight to what broke.
